When Gmail launched back in 2004, it was hailed to be the great disruptor and it was. Now, 14 years later, Gmail has undergone it’s first significant makeover in a long time. But if you log into Gmail right now, chances are you won’t see any changes. That’s because you need to enable the feature. So here is a quick (very quick) tutorial on how to enable the new-look Gmail. Enjoy.

Step 1: You need to log into your Gmail account from any web browser. You should see this standard Gmail screen.

Step 2: Click the gear icon on the top left hand corner and click “Try the new Gmail.”

That’s it!!!

If you need to revert back, just click the gear icon once again and choose “Go back to classic gmail.”
